*I realize this seems somewhat disrespectful of a person’s religious beliefs. That’s actually the intent. As a Mormon I would have been clueless as to how offensive, arrogant and disrespectful the entire baptism for the dead doctrine is.
It’s not just disrespectful to Jews who died in the Holocaust. It is flippantly dismissive of everyone who lived a good life outside Mormonism.

It does puzzle me a bit how a pair of misshies I talked to got pre-emptively offended at the prospect of my ever finding Mormon temple rites posted online by apostates. They were warning me about the ‘bad, anti-’ info online and got all worked up about how some apostates disrespectfully post the ‘sacred’ information online… and yet the same misshies think absolutely nothing of proxy baptizing people of other religions into Mormonism after they’re dead.
I like the misshies, but sometimes they really give me gray hair…
